As Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) owns up to being Iron Man before the world press, Anton Vanko lies dying in Russia. Years ago, Anton worked with Tony's father to create a new source of energy. When tragedy strikes the community surrounding a cafe in West Philadelphia, the cafe's regulars come to realize how intertwined their lives truly are.
THE TRIP, starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, is an intelligent and laugh-out-loud British comedy about the importance of friendship, fame and good food.
When Steve is commissioned by The Observer to review half a dozen restaurants, he decides to plan a trip around the North of England with his food loving American girlfriend. But when she decides to leave him and return to the US, Steve is faced with a week of meals for one. Reluctantly, he calls Rob, the only person left he can think of who will be available on short notice. Rob, never one to turn down a free meal agrees, and together they set off for a culinary adventure.
Over the course of six meals at six different restaurants in and around the Lake District, Lancashire and The Yorkshire Dales, the brilliant comic duo, freestyling with flair, drive each other mad with constant competition and showdowns of competing impressions (including duelling Michael Caines, Sean Connery's and Al Pacino's). The ultimate odd couple realize in the end a rich amount about not only good food, but the nature of relationships and their own lives.

As Olive takes note of the parallels between her own situation and the plight of the Scarlet Letter heroine Hester Prynne, she realizes that she may be able to manipulate her newfound notoriety to give fellow classmate Brandon's (Dan Byrd) popularity a much-needed shot in the arm.
