I made a fan trailer for the 1989 Edward Zwick movie Glory. You should really check this movie out, because it's truly a masterpiece.

Glory is a 1989 American drama war film directed by Edward Zwick and starring Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington, Cary Elwes and Morgan Freeman. The screenplay was written by Kevin Jarre, based on the personal letters of Colonel Robert Gould Shaw, and the novels Lay This Laurel, by Lincoln Kirstein, and One Gallant Rush, by Peter Burchard.
The story is based on the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, the first formal unit of the US Army to be made up entirely of African American men, as told from the point of view of Colonel Robert Gould Shaw, its commanding officer during the American Civil War.
The film was co-produced by TriStar Pictures and Freddie Fields Productions, and distributed by Tri-Star Pictures in the United States. It premiered in limited release in the US on December 14, 1989, and in wide release on February 16, 1990, making $26,828,365. It was considered a moderate financial success taking into account its $18 million budget. The soundtrack, composed by James Horner in conjunction with the Boys Choir of Harlem, was released on January 23, 1990. The home video was distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. On June 2, 2009, a widescreen Blu-ray version, featuring the director's commentary and deleted scenes, was released.
The film received Academy Award nominations for Best Editing and Best Art Direction. It won a number of awards from the British Academy Awards and the Golden Globes. Denzel Washington won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Trip.

When a new servant Abigail (Emma Stone) arrives, her charm endears her to Sarah. Sarah takes Abigail under her wing and Abigail sees a chance at a return to her aristocratic roots. As the politics of war become quite time consuming for Sarah, Abigail steps into the breach to fill in as the Queenโs companion. Their burgeoning friendship gives her a chance to fulfil her ambitions and she will not let woman, man, politics or rabbit stand in her way.

The first and only DEFA feature film about homosexuality, it premiered on November 9, 1989, the evening of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Philipp and Tanja teach at the same school. Both enjoy their work immensely. Both win their pupils' trust to talk about pressing problems. This shared view of their job brings Tanja and Philipp together, and it is especially Tanja who sees in this friend the love of her life. Philipp feels positively attracted to her as well. But when a friend of his youth reminds him of an earlier erotic bond, he realizes that he is gay, a fact he has been repressing for years. Philipp gets to know Matthias and falls passionately in love. The younger of the two, Matthias, puts all his trust in the other and the relationship could certainly have lasted. But Philipp is a coward. He lacks the courage to tell Tanja the truth, as she is expecting his child. And he equally fails to commit himself to Matthias or honestly confront his sexual orientation. As it turns out in the end, he loses both Tanja and Matthias. Not until he has undergone a painful process, does he come to accept himself.
