Se första trailern till regissören Lasse Hallströms film om konstgeniet och pionjären Hilma af Klint med Tora Hallström och Lena Olin i huvudrollen!

Filmen handlar om Hilma af Klint (1862-1944) som var en pionjär inom abstrakt konst som först efter sin död har blivit erkänd och hyllad som en feministisk ikon. Hon föddes i Stockholm och utvecklade ett abstrakt bildspråk redan 1906 – långt före de manliga konstnärer som länge betraktats som föregångare till den abstrakta konsten på 1900-talet. En lika viktig del i skildringen av hennes liv är Hilmas spirituella sida. Hon bildade gruppen "De fem" som i filmen spelas av Lily Cole, Catherine Chalk, Rebecca Calder och Maeve Dermody.
I övriga roller ser vi Tom Wlaschiha, Jazzy de Lisser, Anna Björk, Adam Lundgren, Martin Wallström, Emmi Tjernström och Jens Hultén.
Hilma är en film om konstens förlösande kraft, vänskap, kärlek och frigörelse.

Hilma går upp på biografer i oktober och har premiär på Viaplay den 18 november.

Η άγνωστη και τραγική ιστορία ενός παραγωγού σαμπάνιας, στα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα, στην Τεγέα, είναι το θέμα της ταινίας, «Arcadia 1900, Champagne d' Orient», του Κώστα Σπυρόπουλου, που κάνει πρεμιέρα στις αθηναϊκές αίθουσες στο STUDIO… στις 26 Οκτωβριου.

Η υπόθεση της ταινίας είναι η άνοδος, ο θρίαμβος και η πτώση της οικογενειακής Οινοποιίας Αδελφών Παπανικολάου από την Αρκαδία. Ήθελαν να μετατρέψουν το οροπέδιο της Τρίπολης σε μια Καμπανία της Ανατολής. Το όραμά τους δεν ήταν μια υπερφίαλη επιδίωξη, καθώς βασιζόταν στην απόλυτη ταύτιση - ομοιότητα της επαρχίας Καμπανία της Γαλλίας με το οροπέδιο της Μαντινείας σε ό,τι αφορά τη σύσταση του εδάφους, το μικρο-κλίμα, το υψόμετρο και, ιδίως, την καλλιέργεια της αρωματικής ποικιλίας φιλέρι.

Ο σκηνοθέτης ανακάλυψε πρωτότυπο κινηματογραφικό υλικό γυρισμένο στην Ελλάδα από το 1916 έως το 1927, από Μαγυάρους, Γάλλους και Έλληνες οπερατέρ, το οποίο προβάλλεται για πρώτη φορά στη χώρα μας.

Η σύνθεση αρχειακού υλικού με σύγχρονες αναπαραστατικές σκηνές και οι ερμηνείες των ηθοποιών έφεραν διακρίσεις στην ταινία σε 27 διεθνή Φεστιβάλ στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό. Χαρακτηριστικά η κριτική επιτροπή του DUBAIInternationalFilmFestival, απονέμοντας ειδική μνεία στην ταινία σημείωσε

«Μια πρωτότυπη κινηματογραφική πρόταση έρχεται από την Ελλάδα. Μια ταινία τεκμηρίωσης με στυλ μυθοπλασίας, που δεν είναι το κλασσικό docudrama, αλλά ένα υβριδικό docufiction, όπου η μυθοπλαστική αναπαράσταση δημιουργεί μετα-documents και η κλασσική προβολή αρχείων λειτουργεί ως μυθοπλασία».

Η κριτική επιτροπή του DocFestΧαλκίδας, βράβευσε την ταινία με το δεύτερο βραβείο ταινίας μεγάλου μήκους, «για την ποιότητα της δραματοποιημένης αφήγησης και την άρτια αναπαράσταση εποχής». Στην Κύπρο η επιτροπή του διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ ΑΕΙ, απένειμε ειδική μνεία στην ταινία «για την πρωτότυπη ανάδειξη ένος άγνωστου έως τώρα αρχειακού κινηματογραφικού υλικού».
