Sacrifice Trailer (2012) HD Movie

A story of epic revenge, SACRIFICE, written and directed by Chen Kaige, focuses on a power hungry general who wipes out his rival along with his entire family, save for one newborn. The infant is protected by the doctor who delivered him and raises him as his own, hoping to mold him into his own instrument of retribution. SACRIFICE stars Ge You (FAREWELL MY CONCUMBINE) and Wang Xue Qi (FOREVER ENTHRALLED). It is based on "Orphan of Zhao" by Ji Jun-Xiang and is set during the Yuan Dynasty. It is the first Chinese play known in Europe between the 8th and 5th Century B.C., also known as the Spring and Autumn period in China's history.

About Fall in Love (一见倾心):
For Mu Wan Qing (Zhang Jing Yi), 1926 would always be remembered as the year that changed her life forever. After the death of her mother, Wang Qing knew the time to return to China had finally come. Bringing her mother’s ashes home to be buried, Wan Qing returned to the land of her birth, with no idea of what awaited her once she arrived.

Growing up without a father, Wan Qing returned to China determined to reconnect with the man she barely remembered, in the hopes that while she did so, she might be able to discover the real reason why her parents separated all those years ago. But even more pressing than the mystery surrounding her parents' separation was the unspoken story of how the siblings she never really knew, had lost their lives. As Wan Qing begins to uncover the secrets of the past, she finds her path often crossing with those of Tan Xuan Lin (Chen Xing Xu) and Xu Guang Yao (Lin Yan Jun). One the newly appointed leader of insurgent troops and the other the son of a powerful military commander, they stand on opposite sides of the unrest in Shanghai, but they each take a liking to Wan Qing and agree to use their power and influence to help her on her quest. As they do so, the three begin to develop a strong and lasting friendship; a friendship that is soon put to the ultimate test.

Digging deeper into the past, the three friends soon discover that the story of Wan Qing’s family is much more complicated than they could have ever imagined. Set in Wilds of China, New Disneynature Film Opens in U.S. Theaters Earth Day 2017


Moviegoers who see Disneynature’s new True Life Adventure film “Born in China” during its opening week in 2017 will benefit World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Based on opening-week attendance, Disneynature, via the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund, will make a contribution to WWF to help protect wild pandas and snow leopards in China.

Directed by Chinese filmmaker Lu Chuan, Disneynature’s “Born in China” follows the stories of three animal families, transporting audiences to some of the most extreme environments on Earth to witness some of the most intimate moments ever captured in a nature film. A doting panda bear mother guides her growing baby as she begins to explore and seek independence. A two-year-old golden monkey who feels displaced by his new baby sister joins up with a group of free-spirited outcasts. And a mother snow leopard—an elusive animal rarely caught on camera—faces the very real drama of raising her two cubs in one of the harshest and most unforgiving environments on the planet. Featuring stunning, never-before-seen imagery captured in the remote wilds of China, the film is produced by Disney’s Roy Conli and premiere nature filmmakers Brian Leith and Phil Chapman.

Disneynature’s commitment to conservation is a key pillar of the label and the films empower the audience to help make a difference. Through donations tied to opening-week attendance, Disneynature, through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund, has contributed to a host of conservation initiatives. Efforts include planting three million trees in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest, established 40,000 acres of marine protected area in The Bahamas, protected 65,000 acres of savanna in Kenya, protected nearly 130,000 acres of wild chimpanzee habitat, cared for chimpanzees and educated 60,000 school children about chimpanzee conservation. Additionally, efforts have funded research and restoration grants in U.S. National Parks, supporting conservation projects across 2.9 million acres of parkland and protecting endangered species, and helped protect monkeys and other endangered species in their natural habitats across Indonesia, Cambodia and Sri Lanka.

Outside of Liu, no other cast members have yet been confirmed for Shang-Chi 2. It's assumed that actors such as Awkwafina and Meng'er Zhang will be back for the sequel. Destin Daniel Cretton, who helmed the first installment, has been confirmed to direct Shang-Chi 2. The sequel is part of Cretton's overall deal with Marvel Studios, as he is also developing a MCU show for Disney+

Shang-Chi 2 has been confirmed to happen, but Marvel Studios has yet to give it a release date. Phase 5 is already packed as is with several upcoming films and shows. But there is the chance that Shang-Chi 2 may be one of the unannounced Phase 6 projects. If not in Phase 6, Shang-Chi 2 may not be happening until Phase 7 at the earliest. Cretton is also directing Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, hence the lack of progression on Shang-Chi 2. Even if Shang-Chi 2 is delayed till Phase 7, it feels safe to say the hero will be part of Phases 5-6 in some capacity. It'd be shocking if Shang-Chi doesn't take part in the two upcoming Avengers films. Given Cretton's Avengers: The Kang Dynasty involvement, it would make sense for Liu to be back for that film. Hopefully, Marvel Studios will provide updates about Shang-Chi 2 later this year.
