Editing Details:
As a big fan of James Bond I always wanted to make trailers for this beloved franchise, however for some reason fan made trailers don't perform well because of how in tune most of the fans are about the news. Despite that I still decided to make a Bond 26 trailer with Tom Hiddleston to celebrate 60 years anniversary of James Bond October 5th. I wanted this concept to be realistic to the audience so I used fresh clips likewise from actors and actress.
I begin the trailer with funeral scene of James Bond, already stablishing the idea of James Bond being a code that agents are given. This was possible thanks to AMERICAN SNIPER. "We would like you to be the next 007, you think you can handle it?" voice over I included to establish the idea once again that 007 is a position that can be passed on. I showed Daniel Craig picture (from a drawing) and made Tom look at it. "Thank you so much" line from THE NIGHT MANAGER was great to make a scene of our new James Bond accepting the position. "Its time for a change a new plan needs Bond" is Tom's line from a commercial the Bond part I added from his interview.
Like every Bond film there has to be a new Bond girl, which in that case I chose Margo Robbie (clips from Focus) I made her meet Tom. The title NOBODY LIVES FOR EVER I got from one of James Bond book title. I thought it would be a great choice since most Bond films are from books. In conclusion I really enjoyed making a Bond 26 trailer. Thanks to THE NIGHT MANAGER we get to witness Tom Hiddleston as a potential next Bond and this dream trailer is possible!
